The holiday countdown has officially begun, and our Christmas trees are up! The festivities began back in November, when our Kingsmead girls showed just how far dedication and passion can take you – from swimming galas, to soccer games, to karate.
We wished our Hindu families a Diwali filled with light, and our matrics wrote their final exams. Our exceptional staff members celebrated their own achievements, too. We are so proud of our Kingsmead community.

November marked the culmination of an incredible journey for our Grade 12 students as they wrote their final matric exams! In true Kingsmead fashion, our seniors embraced a longstanding tradition: they donated their school shoes to those in need. Seeing our students share this moment with their proud parents added an extra layer of emotion to the day, and it was a beautiful reminder that education is not just about academic achievements, but also about nurturing empathy and a sense of community. To the Class of 2023, as you embark on the next chapter of your lives, may you carry the lessons learned within these school walls with you.
Another day, another adventure. Our Grade 8 students embarked on a fantastic 5km hike at the picturesque Taroko Farm in Modderfontein. Nature’s classroom provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with exploration, teamwork, and memories. We believe in the power of outdoor experiences to foster resilience, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the world around us.
