Bringing physics to life!
Our Grade 11 Science students took their learning beyond the classroom with an exciting practical outing to Rosebank Mall.
Using the mall’s lifts, students explored Newton’s Laws of Motion in action—measuring changes in apparent weight as the lifts accelerated and decelerated. This hands-on experiment deepened their understanding of inertia, force, and acceleration, making physics more interactive and engaging.
From textbook to real-world application, this excursion was a huge success, sparking curiosity and scientific discussions.
