Kingsmead Junior School Aftercare Form – 2020

Integral to our belief in the development of whole personalities, Aftercare can play an invaluable role at Kingsmead.  Your daughter has the opportunity to spend her afternoons constructively and under the supervision of our Aftercare supervisor Dianne Reeves, her homework assistant and a helper.  The venue is the DV Thompson’s original house, Mornington, and takes place Mondays to Fridays from 12h30 to 17h30.

If you are interested in using our Aftercare facility on an ad hoc basis, please call the school before 10h00 on the morning.  Even if you do not intend using the facility, I ask you to complete and return this form.

Mrs Kim Lowman

Headmistress, Junior School

  • Medication for allergies (or any other condition) may be sent to the College with clear instructions on how to administer it. The medication will be kept by the School Nursing Sister in the Sanatorium.
  • NB: Experience has shown it is sometimes difficult to get hold of parents or guardians in an emergency. We therefore ask you to give our School Nursing Sister authority, should the need arise, and it is impossible to get in touch with you, (1) to arrange for your daughter to be transported by ambulance to the nearest medical facility, and/or (2) to arrange for the necessary medical procedures, subject to a second medical opinion.
