Michelle Roniak

Michelle Roniak is the debut author of Undone. After a botched surgery and devastating complications, she fought unimaginable darkness by choosing to embrace life. Her writing invites readers to peer into the unspoken, taboo, and deeply vulnerable layers of her lifelong struggle with body dysmorphia and body shame. She has since embarked on high-impact adventures, including the Robben Island Channel crossing in 2023, the gruelling Comrades Marathon in 2025, and, later this year, Ironman Portugal Cascais. Michelle is the founder of a successful boutique pet spa and lives in Johannesburg with her two beloved dachshunds, Gertrude and Alfonzo.
