Keamogetswe Matsho

Keamogetswe Matsho is a South African children’s book author, writer and entrepreneur dedicated to raising financially confident, entrepreneurial-thinking young leaders through engaging and educational literacy products. She is the author of Maphiri’s Marvellous Money Moves (2025), a financial literacy and entrepreneurship-themed novel for children aged 10–14.

She is the Founder and Chairperson of the Maphiri Foundation NPC, advancing childhood literacy, financial education and youth entrepreneurship through workshops and classroom-based learning tools. She also owns King Gina, a luxury brand communication and editorial platform exploring African excellence, leadership, culture and global brand stewardship.

An experienced executive leader, she serves as Executive Director of Cebekhulu Construction (CIDB Grade 9CE) and Managing Director of Lamont Trading & Supplies. Her cross-sector leadership in infrastructure, mining services, water innovation and consulting informs her mission to equip children with real-world financial and entrepreneurial skills.

Keamogetswe was a finalist for the Standard Bank Top Women Awards (Young Achiever – 2020) and the Nedbank Business Challenge (2020), selected for the Sasol Women in Mining Cohort (2023), and named one of WomHub 100 Women Leading with Impact (2025). A member of IoDSA, she blends governance expertise with storytelling to inspire children to think boldly about money, entrepreneurship, leadership and legacy.
