Kingsmead Young Writers’ Competition 2022 Winners!

The results are in… Our judges had a mammoth task reading all the amazing entries and picking out one winner in each age category. It was not easy.

The standard was extremely high and so many stories captivated us and had us in awe at the young literary talent in our country.

The winners stood out for the combination of a clever plot and strong writing skills, as well as a WOW factor that stayed in our minds long after. However the authors listed as highly commended were not far behind the winners, so keep writing and perfecting your craft.

Stories will be posted on the Kingsmead Book Fair site in the next week.

Age 16-18
