Kingsmead College has a very active and involved Parent Teacher Association which aims to further the interests and welfare of the school, its staff, parents and pupils, present and future.

The PTA consists of several volunteers from the parent body who fill the positions of class representatives, co-ordinators, treasurer and chair, amongst others.

The group work tirelessly throughout the year to organise and hold functions for fund-raising, social and other purposes, including at least one social gathering of parents and staff each year. The funds raised are used towards special projects identified by the school. One such example is the school bus that was bought in 2017. The current project involves raising capital funds for the development of a multi-purpose wellness centre on the campus.
